Vehicle Storage Policy

If a vehicle is brought in and:
– Is declared a total loss, 
– Is left unclaimed more than 48 hours after service is declined or completed, or
– Is involved in a declined estimate or dropped off without follow-up

It will begin accruing daily storage fees from the date of drop-off through the date of release (including weekends and holidays).

 Scheduled Release Policy: For ease of coordination with storage facilities and workload management, all total loss vehicles, declined service vehicles, or unclaimed units (over 48 hours) will be released on Thursdays, with advance notice required to schedule release.

 Storage Fee Rate: A flat daily rate applies (available on request). Charges may vary for oversized vehicles.

Insurance Coverage Options

We offer the following protection while your vehicle is on-site:

– Standard Shop Liability (Included):
Covers damage due to standard shop operations but excludes theft, vandalism, acts of nature (e.g., floods, hail), or third-party acts.

– Optional Full Coverage – $45/day:
 Comprehensive protection for theft, fire, hail, vandalism, and accidental damage while in our care. Recommended for long-term storage or major repairs. Must be selected at drop-off. If declined, ATX Auto Repair & Paint is not liable beyond standard policy limits.

Non-Refundable Deposits

All deposits—whether personal or through insurance—are non-refundable and apply to:
– Part orders, labor preparation, teardown, or materials.
– Securing your position in our repair schedule.

This ensures we can allocate resources appropriately and begin work without delay.

Policy Revisions

We may update this policy as needed. Significant updates will be posted on our website or communicated via email when appropriate.
